DetailsThis insect home has lots of different textures, crevices and hollows making it a multi-species habitat. Its unique design may attract ladybirds, lacewings, solitary bees and possibly over-wintering butterflies too. The barn also combines bee tubes and drilled bee tubes which can be used by pollinating bees such as Mason Bees or Leafcutter bees. The natural split log (FSC timber) has an opening lid which reveals the inner bug barn and this is where the bug nesting materials such as bark, straw or dried flowers stems are placed. The log walls are thick and chunky so are well-insulated and will provide a cosy sanctuary for garden friendly bugs. The barn also combines bees tubes and drilled bee tubes which can be used by pollinating bees such as Mason Bees or Leafcutter bees. The Bug Barn is best sited next to lawns, sheltered flower beds, wooded glades or even in planters. Made from durable timber so no preservative treatment is required.24 x 14 x 13
