Arabesque ceramics are hand made in Hebron and colourfully painted in the local style with a traditional blue emphasis. The very high quality white clay comes from Spain and depending on the required shape, each piece is either spun in a mould or formed on a potter's wheel. For the hand painting, dry ink powder from Italy is mixed in water with fine glass powder from Egypt to ensure the colours shine. To complete the process, after the artistry, the pots are high-fired in a kiln.
The resulting pottery is of international hygiene standard and suitable for microwave and dishwasher use.
