The base of many Indonesian, Malaysian and Thai dishes, coconut milk is made by squeezing the grated flesh of a coconut with hot water resulting in a rich white liquid that looks very much like cow’s milk. The colour and rich taste of the milk can be attributed to the high oil content. One tin is the equivalent of squeezing approximately 3 coconuts at home.
Ingredients: Organic Coconut Extract (50%), Water.
Coconut: Fairtrade certified and sourced from Fairtrade producers.
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Refrigerate after opening and consume within two days. This product may naturally solidify in cold temperatures, but this will reverse when heating.
