Supplier of the month
Zaytoun
Zaytoun is a not-for-profit co-operative set up to support marginalized farming communities in Palestine.
*In light of the current situation in Palestine and Israel, the Ethical Shop will be directing all Fair Trade Fund donations to the Amos Trust Emergency Appeal for Gaza until 31.12.23. This is a direct suggestion from Zaytoun.*
100% of Zaytoun's profits are reinvested into furthering their mission. They offer premium quality products that are ethically sourced and sustainably grown by farmers in Palestine. In doing so, they directly support Palestinian farming communities through trade. Harvested and prepared by hand, the products are testament both to the proud heritage and culinary traditions of the Palestinian people, and the exceptional quality of Palestinian produce.
The entire product range is sourced from farmers whom Zaytoun visit regularly, and the Ethical Shop is proud to share the gifts of their vibrant culture with you. Read more about Palestine from the New Internationalist Magazine.
Palestine is the home of the olive tree which supports over half the population and dominates the agricultural landscape.…
